What is RPA?

The Roanoke Prevention Alliance is a nonprofit organization founded in 1997 dedicated to preventing substance use and promoting mental wellness in the City of Roanoke. We are fiscally supported by Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare.

We create programming, events, and opportunities for schools, youth, families, and more to create positive change and build a healthier Roanoke. 

We believe prevention works. When a community comes together, we can make a lasting change.

To support the development of resilient, healthy, alcohol and drug-free youth, thereby reducing substance misuse and abuse in adulthood.
